Softball Recap: Phoebus Comes Up Short

Phoebus lost against Bethel on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phantoms came up short against the Bruins, falling 17-7. The Phantoms just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mia Rose made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Phoebus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bethel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Phoebus is set to take on their familiar foe Hampton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bethel will face off against rival Kecoughtan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
