Staunton River is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Fleming just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Colonels 64-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Golden Eagles have suffered since February 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Liberty put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 53-28 margin over Rustburg. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Staunton River better keep an eye on Shania Brown. She was instrumental in Liberty's win, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 18 rebounds. The game was Brown's third in a row with at least ten points. Moriah Tate was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 14 points and four steals.
