Softball Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Morton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Seagraves Eagles, falling 26-20. Even if the Indians couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Morton's record is now 1-13. As for Seagraves, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

While Morton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
