Soccer Recap: Green Mountain Union Comes Up Short

Green Mountain Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Randolph Ghosts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Randolph this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Wednesday.

Green Mountain Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Randolph, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Green Mountain Union will face off against White River Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Randolph, they will take on Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
