Trinity has gone a perfect 5-0 against Tates Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Shamrocks will head out to take on the Commodores at 6:00 p.m. Trinity will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Trinity is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: Madison Central, who was ranked 21st at the time (Trinity was ranked second). The Shamrocks were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Indians on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Tates Creek had taken Scott County down for five straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Commodores fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 4, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Tates Creek got a good showing from Brayden Kraemer, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kraemer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, DJ Carter was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Trinity pushed their record up to 27-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Tates Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Everything went Trinity's way against Tates Creek when the teams last played back in March, as Trinity made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shamrocks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
