Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lennard). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Middleton Tigers 78-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Longhorns have posted since January 4, 2024.

Lennard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nathan Jorden, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Montalvo, who went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points and five boards.

Lennard was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Middleton only posted 12 assists.

Despite the defeat, Middleton had strong showings from Sherrick Oliver, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Darrion Marchman, who posted 15 points.

Lennard's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Middleton, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Lennard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-45 loss against Newsome on the 10th. As for Middleton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-33 defeat against Wharton on the 10th.
