Basketball Game Preview: Schuylerville Horses vs. Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights

The Schuylerville Horses will take on the Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Schuylerville is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Schuylerville is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Amsterdam on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Schuylerville was outmatched by Amsterdam and fell 75-41. While losing is never fun, the Horses can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 576th, while the Rams are ranked 92nd).

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Wednesday as they fell 55-51 to Johnstown.

Schuylerville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
