Basketball Game Preview: Henryville Hornets vs. South Decatur Cougars

The Henryville Hornets will take on the South Decatur Cougars at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Henryville is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Crawford County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack.

Meanwhile, South Decatur was able to grind out a solid victory over Greenwood Christian Academy on Saturday, taking the game 49-36.

Henryville's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for South Decatur, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Henryville came out on top in a nail-biter against South Decatur in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, sneaking past 55-52. Will Henryville repeat their success, or does South Decatur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
