Volleyball Recap: Salmon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Salmon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Firth Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Savages of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Salmon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Firth's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Salmon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Firth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salmon will square off against rival North Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Firth is set to take on their familiar foe Ririe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
