Basketball Recap: Christ Presbyterian Academy Comes Up Short

Christ Presbyterian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ensworth Tigers, falling 79-53. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Tigers are ranked 11th).

Christ Presbyterian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Ensworth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Christ Presbyterian Academy is taking a road trip to take on Father Ryan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ensworth, they will host Brentwood Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ensworth knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Brentwood Academy likes a good challenge.
