Softball Recap: Lauderdale County Takes a Loss

Lauderdale County lost against West Limestone back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 6-2 to the Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lauderdale County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for West Limestone, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 36-5.

Looking ahead, Lauderdale County will square off against Mars Hill Bible at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for West Limestone, they have already played their next game, an 8-2 win against Athens on the 19th.
