Basketball Recap: Marlboro Central Skates Past Highland with Ease

There's no place like home for Marlboro Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 84-23 victory over the Highland Huskies. The win was some much needed relief for the Dukes as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Marlboro Central's record now sits at 2-3. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlboro Central will take on Red Hook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Hook knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Marlboro Central likes a good challenge. As for Highland, they will square off against Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
