Baseball Recap: St. Maries Lumberjacks vs. Kellogg Wildcats
St. Maries was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kellogg Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Maries of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Wednesday.
RIley Abell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Long, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
St. Maries' loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Kellogg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.
