Volleyball Game Preview: San Diego Cavers vs. Hoover Cardinals + How To Watch

The San Diego Cavers will head out on the road to face off against the Hoover Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. San Diego will be strutting in after a victory while Hoover will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, San Diego beat Kearny 3-1. The Cavers haven't had any issues with the Komets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 21-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hoover duked it out with Morse on Thursday. The Cardinals came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-21.

Hoover's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-12. As for San Diego, their victory bumped their record up to 4-21.

San Diego beat Hoover 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Will the Cavers repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
