Basketball Game Preview: Hanover Bears vs. Manchester West Blue Knights

The Hanover Bears will challenge the Manchester West Blue Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hanover comes in on four and Manchester West on seven.

Last Tuesday, Hanover didn't have too much trouble with Stark as they won 47-32. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Generals are ranked 68th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Manchester West was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Kennett 65-31.

Hanover's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Manchester West, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Hanover strolled past Manchester West in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 44-30. Will Hanover repeat their success, or does Manchester West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
