Basketball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

Norwalk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stamford Black Knights. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Black Knights are ranked 43rd).

Norwalk's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Stamford, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coming up, Norwalk will head out to take on Bridgeport Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stamford, they will host Wilton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
