Baseball Recap: Dyersburg Comes Up Short

Dyersburg fell victim to South Gibson and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 12-0 to the Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 9-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Dyersburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for South Gibson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

While Dyersburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
