Basketball Recap: Caden Carey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Arkport Central/Canaseraga over Canisteo-Greenwood

Arkport Central/Canaseraga lost against Canisteo-Greenwood back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Arkport Central/Canaseraga Wolves took a 65-49 bruising from the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Carey, who posted 17 points and five assists. Carey's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kohler Preston was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-49 win against Arkport Central on the 30th.
