Cameron Boozer, Alijah Arenas and Kiyan Anthony headline sons of current, former NBA stars playing high school basketball

Top 50 prospects Tajh Ariza, Brandon Bass Jr., Cayden Boozer, Dylan Harper, Jase Richardson, Jaxon Richardson, Jacob Wilkins and Elijah Williams are among other headliners.

There are currently 35 second-generation players in the NBA, including Devin Booker, Jalen Brunson, Stephen Curry, Darius Garland, Jaren Jackson Jr., Kevin Love, Domantas Sabonis and Klay Thompson.

That list has the potential to expand in the coming years as Carmelo Anthony, Gilbert Arenas, Carlos Boozer, LeBron James, Tracy McGrady, Jermaine O'Neal, Scottie Pippen and Dominique Wilkins all have sons playing high school basketball this season.

Currently, 15 sons of current and former players are regarded as top 75 prospect in their class, including Dante Allen, Kiyan Anthony, Alijah ArenasTajh Ariiza, Brandon Bass Jr., Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, Dylan Harper, Kaden House, Sir Mohammed, Jase Richardson, Jaxon Richardson, Jacob Wilkins and Elijah Williams.

Xander Alarie, St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, Md.)
Father: Mark Alarie, 5-year NBA veteran scored 2,432 career points.
Son: 6-foot-8 Class of 2024 wing holds offers from Bucknell, Fairleigh Dickinson and New Hampshire.



Father: Malik Allen, 10-year NBA veteran scored over 2,000 points in his career.

Father: Carmelo Anthony, 10-time NBA All-Star, six-time All-NBA and one-time NBA champion.
Son: No. 40-ranked junior prospect has provided a scoring spark off the bench for the Crusaders after spending his freshman season at Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.).

Father: Gilbert Arenas, three-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA.
Son: Top five sophomore prospect is averaging 32.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest through 21 games this season. He has tallied over 1,500 career points.

Father: Trevor Ariza, 18-year NBA veteran and 2009 NBA champion scored 11,593 career points.
Son: Top 20 Class of 2026 prospect continues to show promise during his second year of high school basketball.



Father: Matt Barnes,14-year NBA veteran and 2017 NBA champion scored 7,589 career points.
Son: Promising freshman prospect is averaging 8.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per outing through 24 games this season.

Son: Reigning MaxPreps National Player of the Year averaged 21.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.0 blocks per game to guide the Explorers to their second consecutive Class 7A state title last season.

Father: Carlos Boozer, 13-year NBA veteran and two-time NBA All-Star.
Son: Third team Sophomore MaxPreps All-America selection averaged 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per outing to help the Explorers to their second consecutive Class 7A state title last season.



Father: Bruce Bowen, 13-year NBA veteran, three-time NBA champion and eight-time All-Defensive team selection.
Son: Earned all-tournament honors after helping guide the Panthers to the TAPPS Class 5A state title last season.

Son: Under-the-radar sophomore guard is playing for his father with the defending state champions.

Son: Three-star Clemson signee is playing a key role for the Lakers this season, averaging 11.1 points, 4.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in Nike EYBL Scholastic action.

Father: Junior Burrough, played 61 games and started three games in one NBA season.

Son: Three-star Class of 2025 prospect has been a consistent scoring force for the Wildcats this season and established himself as one of the top juniors in the state.

Father: Jay Guidinger, played 64 games and started five games in his career.
Son: 6-7 senior wing averaged 16.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest to earn all-state honors last season.



Father: Richard Hamilton, 14-year NBA veteran, three-time all-star and 2004 NBA champion.
Son: Little information is known about the 6-5 sophomore guard.

Father: Adam Harrington, tallied 30 points and played in 19 games in one NBA season.
Son: Promising sophomore is showing steady improvement this season, including recently scoring a career-high 23 points and connecting on 7-of-9 three-point attempts in a victory over Newman (Boston, Mass.) on Jan. 15.

Father: Ron Harper, 15-year NBA veteran was a five-time champion and scored 13,910 career points.
Son: No. 2-ranked Class of 2024 prospect earned first team Junior MaxPreps All-America honors after averaging 24.9 points, six rebounds and three assists per contest last season.

Father: Robert Horry, 16-year NBA veteran and seven-time NBA champion.
Son: Senior sharpshooter is a key cog for the No. 15-ranked team in the MaxPreps Top 25.

Father: Eddie House, 11-year NBA veteran and 2008 NBA champion.
Son: First team MaxPreps Freshman All-America selection averaged 25.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 3.5 assists per contest to guide the Wolves to the Open Division state semifinals last season.

Kalek House, Desert Mountain
Father: Eddie House, 11-year NBA veteran and 2008 NBA champion.
Son: MaxPreps Freshman All-America honorable mention selection averaged 16.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.4 steals per contest to help the Wolves reach the state semifinals last year.



Father: Andre Iguodala, 19-year NBA veteran, four-time NBA champion and 2015 NBA Finals MVP.
Son: 6-6 Class of 2025 wing is a reserve for the defending GEICO Nationals champions and No. 4-ranked team in the National Top 10.

Father: Marc Jackson, Seven-year NBA veteran tallied 3,238 career points.
Son: Under-the-radar junior earned second team All-Catholic league honors after averaging 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for the for the Class 6A state runner-up.

Father: LeBron James, four-time MVP, four-time Finals MVP and all-time scoring leader.
Son: Three-star Class of 2025 prospect ended up back at Sierra Canyon after a pair of transfer announcements over the summer. He's established himself as a key cog off the bench for the No. 10-ranked Trailblazers.

Father: Antawn Jamison, 16-year NBA veteran, two-time all-star and  2004 Sixth Man of the Year.
Son: 6-1 junior guard is a reserve for the No. 4-ranked team in the MaxPreps Top 25 this season. Jamison is averaging 2.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per outing through 15 games.

Father: Lari Ketner, tallied 34 points and 34 rebounds in 25 games across two NBA seasons.
Son: 6-7 senior wing holds offers from Albany, Drexel, Mount St. Mary's and Robert Morris. He is having a strong season in the Philadelphia Catholic league.

Father: Raef Lafrentz, 10-year NBA veteran tallied 5,690 points and 3,423 rebounds in his career.
Son: Promising 6-10 forward is averaging 15.4 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per contest while shooting 69.5 percent from the field through 13 games.



Father: Randy Livingston, 11-year NBA veteran tallied 773 points and 415 assists in his career.
Son: Transferred to play for his father after averaging 4.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest as a freshman at Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) last season.

Father: George Lynch, 12-year NBA veteran scored over 5,000 points in his career.
Son: 6-5 senior guard is putting up impressive numbers this season, averaging 14.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.1 steals per contest through 16 games.

Father: Don MacLean, Nine-year NBA veteran tallied 3,490 points and 1,210 rebounds in his career.
Son: The three-star sophomore prospect is making a name for himself on the hardwood, averaging 22.7 points per contest this season.

Father: Kenyon Martin, 15-year NBA veteran and one-time all-star tallied 9,325 points in his career.
Son: Little has been reported about the 6-3 Class of 2024 guard.

Father: Vernon Maxwell, 13-year NBA veteran was a two-time NBA champion.
Son: 6-3 senior guard has played a starring role alongside five-star Duke signee Isaiah Evans this season to help the Vikings to a 14-3 record.

Father: Tracy McGrady, seven-time NBA All-Star, seven-time All-NBA and two-time scoring champion.
Son: 6-4 junior guard transferred from Texas to IMG Academy where he is playing for one of their regional teams.



Father: Aaron McKie, 13-year NBA veteran scored 5,871 career points and was the 2001 Sixth Man of the Year.
Son: Three-star Class of 2025 guard averaged 16.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest last season to earn all-state honors.

Father: Nazr Mohammed, 18-year NBA veteran also won an NBA title.
Son: Top 40 Notre Dame signee was a MaxPreps Junior All-America honorable mention selection after averaging 13.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest to lead the Mustangs to the Class 4A state title.

Father: Dean Oliver, played in 35 games and scored 64 points in two NBA seasons.
Son: Sophomore guard is averaging 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game through 11 games this season.

Father: Jermaine O'Neal, six-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA.
Son: Top 100 Class of 2025 prospect is averaging 11.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.8 steals per contest through 16 games this season.

Father: Anthony Parker, nine-year NBA veteran tallied 4,478 points and 1,574 rebounds in his career.
Son: 6-3 Class of 2024 guard averaged 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per outing to help the Panthers reach the Class 5A state quarterfinals.

Father: Scottie Pippen, eight-time NBA All-Defensive first team selection and six-time NBA champion.
Son: Pippen has made drastic improvements in his game from his junior year to his senior year, recently elevating his status from an unranked prospect to the No. 60 prospect in the Class of 2024.



Adonis Ratliff, Archbishop Stepinac
Father: Theo Ratliff, 16-year NBA veteran, one-time all-star and two-time all-defensive selection.
Son: 6-7 Class of 2026 forward starred on the Archbishop Stepinac freshman team last season. He is averaging 2.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per contest at the varsity level this year.

Darius Ratliff, Archbishop Stepinac
Father: Theo Ratliff, 16-year NBA veteran, one-time all-star and two-time all-defensive selection.
Son: 6-8 Class of 2026 forward starred on the Archbishop Stepinac freshman team last year. He is averaging 0.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per outing while playing sparingly in four games at the varsity level this season.

Father: Jason Richardson, 14-year NBA veteran scored 14,644 career points.
Son: Top 50 Michigan State signee has stepped into a key role for the top-ranked team in the MaxPreps Top 25. He is averaging 14.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest through 20 games.

Father: Jason Richardson, 14-year NBA veteran scored 14,644 career points.
Son: Regarded as the No. 14 prospect in the Class of 2026, Richardson is a key reserve for the Explorers after being named to the MaxPreps Freshman All-America honorable mention team last season.

Father: Nate Robinson, 11-year NBA veteran was a three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion.
Son: The 5-9 Class of 2025 guard transferred to Rainier Beach after playing a key role for Skyline (Sammamish, Wash.) last season.

Father: Brandon Roy, 6-year NBA veteran and three-time all-star before injuries cut career short.
Son: Junior guard plays for his father who has won three state titles as head coach of the of his alma mater.



Father: Michael Ruffin, nine-year NBA veteran tallied 716 points and 1,632 rebounds in his career.
Son: As an eighth grader last season, Ruffin averaged 6.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per contest to help guide the Eagles to the Division 2 state title.

Father: Dennis Scott, 10-year NBA veteran tallied 8,094 points and 1,774 rebounds in his career.

Father: John Wallace, seven-year NBA veteran tallied 2,901 points and 1,061 rebounds in his career.
Son: Iona commit is a player to watch this season after helping lead South Kent to the NEPSAC Class 3A state championship last season.

Father: Clarence Weatherspoon, 13-year NBA veteran tallied 10,483 points and 6,846 rebounds his career.
Son: Freshman guard begins his high school career this season. Two-sport athlete also plays soccer.

Father: Jahidi White, seven-year NBA veteran tallied 1,954 points and 1,944 rebounds in his career.
Son: 6-5 Class of 2026 wing has played a key role for the Red Devils this season, averaging 7.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per outing through 13 games.

Jahidi White Jr., Chaminade
Father: Jahidi White, seven-year NBA veteran tallied 1,954 points and 1,944 rebounds in his career.
Son: After being forced to sit out of his freshman year due to injury, the 6-8 Class of 2026 forward is averaging 8.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per contest through 15 games.

Father: Dominique Wilkins, 15-year NBA veteran, nine-time all-star and seven-time All-NBA selection.
Son: Georgia commit is regarded as the No. 27 prospect in the Class of 2025. Wilkins has been one of the top contributors for the No. 7-ranked team in the MaxPreps Top 25.

Father: Monty Williams, nine-year NBA veteran tallied 2,884 points and 1,295 rebounds in his career.
Son: The son of the NBA head coach transferred from Arizona to Michigan after his father was hired by the Detroit Pistons. Williams is regarded as the No. 8 prospect in the Class of 2026.

Father: Mo Williams, 13-year NBA veteran, 2016 NBA champion and 2008-09 all-star.
Son: Sophomore guard is averaging 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.9 steals per contest through 20 games this season to help the Raiders start the season 25-1.

Father: Mo Williams, 13-year NBA veteran, 2016 NBA champion and 2008-09 all-star.
Son: Three-star junior guard is averaging 19.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 3.0 assists per outing to guide the Raiders to a record of 25-1.



Father: Corliss Williamson, 12-year NBA veteran, 2004 NBA champion and 2002 Sixth Man of the Year.
Son: The 6-2 Class of 2024 guard continues to look to make a name for himself for the defending Class 4A state champions.
