Kingwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Humble recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kingwood has four straight victories, Humble has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Kingwood made easy work of Summer Creek and carried off a 9-2 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Humble came up short against Goose Creek Memorial on Friday and fell 8-3. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly five runs.

Humble saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Fillyaw, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Samuel Nixon was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Kingwood's victory bumped their record up to 20-8-1. As for Humble, their loss dropped their record down to 4-22-1.

Kingwood got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Humble by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
