Basketball Game Preview: Polytech Panthers vs. Caesar Rodney Riders

Polytech has gone 8-2 against Caesar Rodney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Polytech Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Caesar Rodney Riders at 5:15 p.m. Polytech will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, Polytech didn't have too much breathing room in their match against St. Mark's, but they still walked away with a 50-46 victory.

Polytech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sierra Henry, who posted 17 points along with six steals and five boards. Henry is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Saniya Skinner, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caesar Rodney). They put the hurt on MOT Charter with a sharp 70-49 win on Saturday. The Riders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Caesar Rodney has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Polytech, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
