Basketball Recap: Sha?Sariah Works' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Roosevelt over Lakes International Language Academy

Several Teddies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sha?Sariah Works, who posted 13 points and five rebounds. Those 13 points gave Works a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olive Maly, who put up 17 points and eight boards.

Roosevelt has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Lakes International Language Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Roosevelt will look to defend their home court on Monday against Blake at 1:30 p.m. As for Lakes International Language Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Community of Peace Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
