Woods Charter is 8-2 against Southern Wake Academy since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Wolves will face off against the Lions at 3:30 p.m.

Woods Charter is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Clover Garden School on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1.

Southern Wake Academy hadn't beaten Ascend Leadership on the road since September 16, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Lions came out on top against the Aviators by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southern Wake Academy.

They hit Ascend Leadership with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christian Cline, Ali Shoier, and Amine Mohammadine.

Woods Charter's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2-1. As for Southern Wake Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Woods Charter was able to grind out a solid win over Southern Wake Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Do Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
