Baseball Recap: Nature Coast Tech Takes a Loss

Nature Coast Tech has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.29 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 13-2 to the Lecanto Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Sharks have suffered since March 28, 2024.

BRADY MCMURDO was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Nature Coast Tech and nudges their season record down to 14-7. As for Lecanto, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-15.

Coming up, Nature Coast Tech will square off against Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lecanto, they will take on The Villages Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffalo will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
