It was a good run, but Mission Vista unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Liberty Patriots.

Maya Hopkins paced Mission Vista's offense, picking up five kills. Hopkins got some help from Morgan Duse-Anthony and her 14 assists. Ailish Bender controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Liberty, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Mission Vista has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Prairie on the 11th. As for Liberty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Rancho Bernardo on the 11th.
