Baseball Recap: Ironwood Takes a Loss

Ironwood fell victim to Centennial and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 9-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Coyotes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Ironwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Stilwell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Ironwood's record now sits at 3-11. As for Centennial, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

While Ironwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
