Football Game Preview: Istrouma Indians vs. Lord Beaconsfield Landry

The Istrouma Indians will square off against Lord Beaconsfield Landry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Istrouma will be strutting in after a win while Lord Beaconsfield Landry will be coming in after a defeat.

Istrouma's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Tara 54-0. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

Istrouma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Josh Williams.

Meanwhile, Lord Beaconsfield Landry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 40-13 defeat at the hands of Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy. The matchup was a close 14-13 at the break, but unfortunately for Lord Beaconsfield Landry it sure didn't stay that way.

Istrouma's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lord Beaconsfield Landry, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Istrouma against Lord Beaconsfield Landry in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-6 victory.
