Recap: Pomona Panthers vs. Dobson Mustangs

Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (13), Pomona still had to take the loss.

On Dobson's side, Aaron Mutascio was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Mutascio is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played. Jake Dobson was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Pomona now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Dobson, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Pomona is on the road again on Thursday to play Thunderbird at 10:00 a.m. Thunderbird will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pomona surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dobson, they will face off against Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakewood's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Dobson's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
