Soccer Game Preview: Havelock vs. J.H. Rose

Havelock hasn't had much luck against J.H. Rose recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rams will host the Rampants at 6:00 p.m.

Havelock managed to keep up with Northside - Jacksonville until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rams lost 4-1 to the Monarchs.

Meanwhile, J.H. Rose kept a clean sheet against South Central on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 7-0 victory. Considering J.H. Rose have won six games by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

J.H. Rose has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those eight contests. As for Havelock, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2.
