Recap: Fannin County vs. Union County
The Fannin County Rebels have not done well against the Union County Panthers recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Fannin County walked away with a 3-1 victory over Union County. Fannin County's winning goal came courtesy of Annaleigh Cheatham.
Fannin County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Union County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fannin County will take on Murray County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fannin County is facing Murray County at the right time seeing as Murray County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Union County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 8th.
