Softball Recap: Colleyville Heritage Comes Up Short

Colleyville Heritage entered their game against Grapevine on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Colleyville Heritage lost 9-2 to Grapevine. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-8 on March 4th.

Colleyville Heritage saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sammie Pham, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits Pham has posted since March 4th.

Colleyville Heritage suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 10-9-1. As for Grapevine, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

Coincidentally, Colleyville Heritage and Grapevine will both be playing Argyle the next time they take the field. Grapevine will host Argyle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Colleyville Heritage will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
