Football Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Timberwolves vs. Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds

The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves will square off against the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guy-Perkins took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Ridge, who comes in off a win.

Cedar Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Midland, who was ranked 11th at the time (Cedar Ridge was ranked sixth). The Timberwolves breezed past the Mustangs to the tune of 48-20 on Friday. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Guy-Perkins fell victim to Rector and their airtight defense last Friday. They were dealt a 70-0 defeat at the hands of the Cougars.

The victory made it two in a row for Cedar Ridge and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for Guy-Perkins, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
