The Toll Gate Titans will face off against the West Warwick Wizards at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Toll Gate barely beat Woonsocket the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Villa Novans 16-1 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Delaney Wilson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Toll Gate got a big performance out of Reagan Motta, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Liv Cota, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Toll Gate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, West Warwick faced Portsmouth in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wizards were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wizards.
Bryce Principe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sophia Muschiano, who fired off two home runs and three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Zajdek, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Toll Gate has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Warwick, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Toll Gate came up short against West Warwick in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 9-5. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
