Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nicolas Hill-Gaston and Naryan Banerjee Lead Jesuit to Victory

Jesuit had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Granite Bay Grizzlies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Leading Jesuit to victory were Naryan Banerjee and Nicolas Hill-Gaston. Banerjee had 11 digs and five assists, while Hill-Gaston hit 77.8% for 14 kills and eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Hill-Gaston has posted over his last 12 matchups.

Jesuit pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Granite Bay, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jesuit will challenge Davis Sr. at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Granite Bay, they will face off against Folsom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
