Millbrook had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Somers Tuskers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Blazers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nina Lapine paced Millbrook's offense, picking up six kills. Lapine got some help from Alexis Larocca and her ten assists. Lapine was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Millbrook's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Somers, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Millbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Yorktown on the 27th. As for Somers, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ardsley at 4:30 p.m. on October 8.
