Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asheboro). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Trinity Bulldogs 64-30. The Blue Comets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Trinity's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Nance, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hill, who had eight points.

Asheboro now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Asheboro will take on Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Comets will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Trinity, they will square off against Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
