Montgomery extended their home winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from JJ Sanchez. The Montgomery Aztecs claimed a resounding 85-28 win over the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders thanks to Sanchez, who shot 11-for-15 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double with 39 points and nine boards. What's more, he also posted a 73% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Xair Mendez, who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 22 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played.

Montgomery is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
