Hay Springs turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Hay Springs Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 37-29 victory over Hot Springs on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Hay Springs, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Hay Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mya Turman out in front who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Turman has scored at least 25% of Hay Springs' points. Another player making a difference was Gabby Twarling, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Hay Springs has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 3-1 record. As for Hot Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hay Springs will take on Bridgeport at TBD on Saturday. One thing working in Bridgeport's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hot Springs, they will be playing at home against Alliance at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
