Soccer Recap: Cheshire Comes Up Short

Cheshire came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Xavier Falcons, falling 5-0. Cheshire haven't had much luck with Xavier recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cheshire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Xavier, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cheshire will welcome Hand at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Xavier, they will face off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Xavier's defense better be ready for this one: Notre Dame have averaged an impressive 4.7 goals per game this season.
