Football Recap: Olney Skates Past Crosbyton with Ease + How To Watch

Olney never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Crosbyton Chiefs 33-0. For the Cubs, this counts as revenge for the 22-8 win the Chiefs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Olney was led to victory by Tucker Cortinez and Jamarcus Collins. Cortinez threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, while Collins picked up 164 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Collins showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 58 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Olney and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Crosbyton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Olney has already played their next contest (against Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Crosbyton, they will face off against Sudan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Chiefs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
