Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Evergreen

Evergreen extended their winning streak to five on Monday, bumping them up to 6-4. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Lindbergh Eagles. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 15-6 victory two weeks ago.

As for Lindbergh, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-9. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Evergreen since Monday.

For Lindbergh's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tia Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Evergreen and Lindbergh will both be playing Foster the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wolverines will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
