They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of South Brunswick. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 14-7 in the first quarter.

Dixon might have lost, but man, Noah Wright was a machine: he posted 21 points along with seven boards and five assists. The game was Wright's sixth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Grady Adams, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir was able to grind out a solid victory over Union on Wednesday, taking the game 75-62. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.
