Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Gets the Win

Carrollton won the last time they faced Douglas County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers.

Carrollton easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11.

Carrollton found their leader in sophomore Avani Poolman, who had eight digs and two aces.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 15-17. As for Douglas County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.

Carrollton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Columbus on the 24th. As for Douglas County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against East Coweta on the 23rd.
