Volleyball Recap: Galion Comes Up Short

Galion lost against Shelby back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Whippets.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 24-26, 25-15.

Madelyn Roseberry paced Galion's offense, picking up 13 kills. Roseberry got some help from Kalynne Butterfield and her 23 assists. Avery Patrick controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Galion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shelby, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Galion will square off against Lexington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shelby, they will take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
