Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Van Wert on Saturday, Bryan came back down to earth. The Golden Bears fell just short of the Delta Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bryan wouldn't go down easily and took Delta into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 18-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-11.

Nora Kunsman paced Bryan's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kunsman got some help from Jozie Cordy and her 41 assists. Cordy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bryan's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Delta, the win snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 4-15 record.

Coming up, Bryan will head out to challenge Stryker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Delta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pettisville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
