Softball Game Preview: Mojave Mustangs vs. Immanuel Christian Crusaders

Mojave hasn't had much luck against Immanuel Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 3:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mojave played against Trona last Friday and lost via forfeit.

Immanuel Christian came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Lone Pine by a score of 11-9 on Monday.

Ariel Kisor was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Elizabeth Lowry was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Mojave's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Immanuel Christian, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-8.

Mojave suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Immanuel Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
