Ashville won the last time they faced Weaver and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Ashville Bulldogs' way against the Weaver Bearcats as the Ashville Bulldogs made off with a 12-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

Justin Henderson was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Trevor Wicks was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Ashville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Ashville's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Weaver, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Weaver, they will challenge Faith Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Weaver has given up an average of 12.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
