The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Phantoms a 7-0 shutout on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for East Valley Athletes for Christ as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, ASU Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Orme.

ASU Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
