Volleyball Recap: Galileo Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Galileo faced off against Lowell on Wednesday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Cardinals. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 18-25, 25-10.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Lowell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Galileo is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Lowell will square off against rival Balboa at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
