Football Recap: Whitman-Hanson Regional Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Whitman-Hanson Regional's offense. They were outmatched by the Marshfield Rams and fell 51-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost seven in a row.

Whitman-Hanson Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marshfield, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitman-Hanson Regional will face off against Silver Lake Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marshfield, they will challenge Hingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Harbormen's defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
